Mike Harbit has been actively on the air since 1981 while attending Northwest Missouri State University. While there Mike did the radio play-by-play for NWMSU athletics. After graduating with a degree in broadcasting, Mike moved on to Warrensburg, Missouri and was the radio voice of the Central Missouri State University Mules. In 1987, he journeyed to KNEM/KNMO in Nevada as News/Sports Director which eventually led to a sales position and then to ownership. Sheena Dickey "Sheena" started at
the KNEM/KNMO radio full time as the Music Director in June of
2006. She is now the Program Director & on air personality from
8-Noon Monday – Friday. From 11-Noon Monday – Friday, Sheena is the
host of the Trader Program. The Trader Program is a service that
people can buy & sell items by calling the radio station. The
Trader Program is one of the most listened to radio programs in
Vernon County. She also have a vast array of music knowledge in all

Chris Hacker began in radio
during his senior year at the University of Missouri-Columbia
serving as an intern for Premier Marketing Group. After graduating
from Mizzou with a B.A. in Communications in 2003, he moved back to
Nevada in 2004 where he began working part-time at the station. In
2005, Chris began full-time duties and has served as Production
Director at the station for the past several years and early in 2010
added Operations Manager to his duties. Chris can be heard in the

The real radio veteran on the "Double K Country" staff is News Director,
Russ Warren. Russ is a bonafide news junkie who excels at taking a small news tip and developing it into a full story using an extensive network of sources that's unmatched in small market radio. Russ first went on the air in 1966 while at Central Missouri State University. He then had stints as News Director at stations in Carthage, Missouri and Fort Scott, Kansas before settling in at KNEM/KNMO in January of 1995. Bill Fleming does not have an on-air presence, however, he's responsible for much of what goes on-air as an Account Executive. Bill is responsible for the day to day contact with KNEM/KNMO's vast array of advertising clients. He works with each advertiser from start to finish on ads promoting their products and services. Cara Skaggs serves as the Office
Manager/Traffic Director for KNEM/KNMO Radio. Cara is
responsible for the daily office operation of the radio stations and
is responsible for the daily scheduling of commercials and programs.
Cara is the first person you'll normally see when coming into the
radio station or the first voice you'll hear on the telephone when

Blake Gazaway is the current Saturday
morning voice on Double K Country. Blake is a Nevada High
School graduate and a current student at Pittsburg State University.
Besides taking care of Saturday mornings, he also fills in from time
to time when one of the weekday announcers is away and serves as one
of the radio voices for Rich Hill Tiger football broadcasts and some
of the area basketball broadcasts. |
