Obituaries

Ralph Martin Reed, of Nevada, passed away Friday, November 17, at Nevada Regional Medical Center at the age of 95. Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, at Ferry Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Moore Cemetery. The family receives friends between five and seven o'clock Tuesday evening, November 21, at Ferry Funeral Home. Memorials either to the Vernon County Youth Fair or the United Methodist Church are suggested and can be made in care of Ferry Funeral Home.

Milton Earl Enlow, of Foster, Mo., passed away Wednesday, November 15 at Serenity Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Butler. He was 96. Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 20 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler with Pastor Ron Dunlap officiating. Burial is planned in the Salem Cemetery in Foster. Memorials to teh Happy Hill Church of God are suggested and can be made in care of the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel.

Vernon Loren Howrey, Sr., Nevada, passed away Tuesday, November 14, in a motor vehicle accident near Carthage, Mo. The retired Nevada State Hospital employee was 73. Services are to be scheduled later.

Mathew Gene Welborn passed away Friday, November 10. The 1977 graduate of Bronaugh High School was 58. Service arrangements were under direction of Ferry Funeral Home and no servies are scheduled.

Sam Austin Gooden, El Dorado Springs, passed away Friday, November 17, at the age of 62. Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, at the Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home in El Dorado Springs. Burial is planned in the Olive Branch Cemetery.

Rose Arlene Yockey, El Dorado Springs, passed away Thursday, November 16, at the age of 87. Arrangements are under direction of the Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, and a graveside service is scheduled at 11:00 Monday, November 20, in the Love Cemetery. Memorials to a fund for the family are suggested.

Gail Leaming, Sarcoxie, Mo., passed away Friday, November 17, at Mercy Hospital, Carthage. The Lamar Democrat and Greenfield Vedette newspaper columnist was 72. Arrangements are under direction of the Pugh Funeral Home in Golden City and a memorial service is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, at the Milford, Mo. Christian Church. Visitation is scheduled between six and seven-thirty Tuesday evening, November 21, at the Pugh Funeral Home. Memorials to the Gail and Ron Leaming Scholarship Fund or the Vesta Winchell Scholarship Fund at Golden City High School are suggested and can be made in care of the Pugh Funeral Home.
