​The first of KNEM/KNMO "Shopping Show" of 2018 will be Saturday, January 20th starting at 9:05 a.m.  Jae Miller will be the host and will have a wide variety of local and area products and services available at tremendous savings.  The number to call is 667-3113 or (800) 934-4584.  The "Shopping Show" will be heard on Double K Country or online on your desktop or on the Double K Country mobile app.

​The Nevada Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball teams both begin play in the Kansas Army National Guard Frontenac Invitational at Frontenac High School this Thursday.  The Lady Tigers start it off at 4:00 p.m. Thursday as they take on the Turner Lady Bears of Kansas City, KS.  That's followed by a first round matchup between the top-seeded Tigers and the Wichita Independent Panthers at 5:30 p.m.  Both games will be aired on AM 1240, KNEM and the KNEM-AM audio stream with pregame for the twinbill starting at 3:45 p.m.  Broadcasts from the Frontenac tournament will be AUDIO ONLY.

The Missouri Tigers return home to Mizzou Arena for SEC play when they host the Tennessee Volunteers this Wednesday night.  Join Double K Country for Tiger Network coverage starting at 7:30 p.m. with tipoff at 8:00 p.m.

Be sure and join us each Wednesday night during the Nevada Tiger winter sports season for "Tiger Talk".  Mike Harbit sits down each week with basketball head coaches Shaun Gray of the Tigers and Brent Bartlett of the Lady Tigers to discuss the previous weeks games as well as preview upcoming opponents.  Tony Abati will also have a weekly update from head wrestling coach David Hawks.  "Tiger Talk" is Wednesday nights  at 6:05 p.m. on AM 1240, KNEM and 97.5 FM, KNMO as well as the online audio stream.
